Kimstaurant

Kimstaurant's Korean food in Bacolod City
From right to left top to bottom: potato slices, Korean salad, mung bean sprouts with veggies, kimchi, and jaejong bokkem
Kimstaurant, found at Mayfair Plaza on Lacson St, is a favorite among Korean students, and for good reason. Not only is the price good enough, but they also serve fantastic (and unlimited) side dishes.
My wife and I have been to Kimstaurant five times over the past few months and have loved it every single time. Our favorite dishes there include Jaejong Bokkem (spicy pork), Japchae (bihon and vegetables), and samgyupsal (bacon wraps). They also have a nice ice cream dessert shaped like a fish that is absolutely delicious.

Of course, a Korean meal is never complete without kimchi. It's free and absolutely fantastic.

Most of the dishes are priced between 200 pesos and 300 pesos, so it won't completely break the bank. Although I wouldn't say that each dish feeds two, it definitely feeds one and a half, so if you are going out with three people, order two. If you are going to eat dessert, then it may be safe to assume one dish feeds two people.

As a tradition, you should order a bottle of soju (Korean rice wine) and have a drink before the meal. It's a fantastic tasting drink that's 19.5% alcohol. One bottle is 150 pesos.
